About Me

I am a native New Yorker and lived in New York State until two years ago, when I moved to Albania. I spent two years in Albania as a community development volunteer with the Peace Corps.

I'll be leaving Albania this summer and I am ready to travel, dance, hike, bike, and run around the world.

I think life is too short to take things too seriously, but long enough that its wasted by not pursuing your passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and, listen to their stories of travel and life.

I'm sorry, I can't host right now, as I am preparing to move from Albania.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music from rock, classical, jazz, pop, folk and hip-hop

Movies: Wes Anderson films are some of my favorite. The images, music and over the top story lines entertain me but there is also very true and raw emotions in the storylines. Joss Whedon is also one of my favorites, whether it's his work on TV or movies.

Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut had a heavy influence on my thinking in my teenage years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure I can name one thing!

About ten years ago I rode a horse on the Mongolian steppe.

Something more recent was after missing a ferry boat back to Albania from Corfu, my friends and I hitchhiked from Greece to Northern Albania in one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic bookbinding and some Albanian words.

I'd like to learn other languages, new recipes and share new places to hike or run.
