**We are currently travelling for the summer, and then we will be moving into our new place in Ann Arbor, Michigan in September. The profile will be updated for accepting guests again when our new place is ready.**

Hello! We are avid travelers, with at least one big international trip planned per year. Most recently, we spent a week and a half in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Fall 2017, we spent some time in Vietnam. We both went to the University of Georgia, where we met in a debate society. Now we find that city life treats us well. Lauren is starting law school in the fall at the University of Michigan, so we think it's important we utilize our time in Chicago to the fullest before we move on to our next home. We'll be traveling through South America from June to August 2019 before we make our big move!

Lauren has a nerdy love of comics and musicals. Erik also enjoys these quirks, as well as runs a comedy show here in the city, and he knows about good biking in Chicago!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking to host people coming through Chicago, because we have the space and love sharing the experience. We'd love to show you fun shows and restaurants. We love travel and sharing travel stories, and Lauren is always trying to plan our next adventure! We both speak English, and Lauren speak Spanish, and Erik speaks German.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-Lauren is more classic and alternative rock. Erik is more techno and also plays string base.
Books-Erik is into fantasy, and Lauren reads history. We both read lots of comics.
Movies-Lauren was raised to watch everything, so she's slowly training Erik on pop culture greats.
