Overview
About Me
I am a Californian transplant living in North Carolina for the past four years. Love adventure and different cultures so that's why I decided to join Couchsurfing. I know it is not as common in the United States, but I am hoping to broaden my horizon (as well as others) and make it an enjoyable experience.
I am in my final year of undergrad as a fine arts major with a concentration in painting, so all things art captivate me. While traveling abroad I have discovered a new fascination with architecture and welcome discussions on the matter. I also enjoy collecting recipes from around the world (since the states are rather lacking in this area) and am willing to trade my guest in this area of expertise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The opportunity to connect with locals to have a genuine experience in the culture and avoid being a tourist.

Just finished Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984, The Giver, the Harry Potter series of course, Art and Physics, Lord of the Rings...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled cross country on route 40 three separate times...that was enough for me
