Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fell in love with the goodness of people whilst living in Alaska for a month with my cousin, and sleeping on the couches of distant relatives, friends of friends, and old work colleagues. I fell in love with the community of people who trust one another and also see the beauty of simply helping others out for a few nights. I hope to be able to offer that to others (when I am not in university housing), and I would love to meet other people on my adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: Passenger, Jon Bellion, Penny and Sparrow

Books: East of Eden by Steinbeck, Anything by C.S. Lewis

Movies: Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueler's Day Off (my dad is in it for .5 seconds, so its a family favorite), and Silver Linings Playbook. Not a huge movie watcher, but always looking for suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked a backpack full of fresh-caught salmon 2 miles out of the Red River in Alaska during the summer after getting stranded. We saw a bear on the trail not 20 minutes after getting the salmon safety to a car.
It wasn't smart- but it happened.
