About Me

Hello World!

I absolutely love traveling and would like to experience the most the world has to offer by visiting many different places. I'm from the US so I've spent a lot of time traveling there since there's SO much to see!

I have my undergrad in Psychology and want to pursue grad school to become a counselor :) so if you have any issues, I'd be more than happy to help out!

I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor although sometimes I'm the only one laughing at my corny jokes. I also like getting into existential debates when I probably shouldn't. But I never take anything serious enough to get offended, and you shouldn't either! Life is funny, not always to be taken serious :)

I always look at the glass half-full

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CouchSurfing on a whim while visiting Thailand. I had heard about it years before from an old roommate but never thought to give it a try until I was in a foreign country, surrounded by locals and foreigners alike who were willing to open their homes to me

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music? Everything! (With a few exceptions). My playlist includes many songs from many different years, genres, and languages!

Favorite movie? Of all time, Forrest Gump - corny, I know, but I love the balance between Forrest and Jenny! Lately, Trainspotting - it's been a long-time favorite but I'm excited a second one is in the making!

Favorite books? I love dystopian novels. Vonnegut is my favorite author and I really enjoyed The Rum Diary by Hunter S Thompson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled to Thailand with a plan that completely fell apart, yet turned out to be the biggest adventure of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - compassion, random facts

Learn - things I've never dreamt possible

Share - ideas, plans, thoughts

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be pretty entertaining, low-maintenance, and easy to get along with! I know how to cook with the proper ingredients (i.e. I have signature dishes lol). I'm great with animals and kids. Willing to help with anything!
