Hello! I'm born and raised in the PNW near Seattle, WA. This is a wonderful time in my life, one that I've been waiting for! I've graduated college at 23 & soon I will be a backpacking guide! Traveling while I'm young is so important to me. How could I not with amazing opportunities such as couchsurf/wwoof/airbnb/hostels etc..?! I feel this urge to get out there and experience different cultures, meet my people, see new sights. I look forward to incredible growth and learning periods. I am confident that I can handle anything; everything is temporary, everything will be alright. I love hiking/camping/backpacking, again I grew up in Washington so mountains are kind of my life! My vision is to live as simply and sustainably as possible. I've learned to live with very little and continue to learn more every day. That's another reason I cherish travel. Plus I'm given many opportunities to volunteer or work in different places and areas such as farming/gardening, teaching, healing, etc..which I am very passionate about. I love to garden but don't have space to do a lot at the moment. I started my first workaway experience on Oahu in January 2017 on an organic/sustainable farm.. worked on about 7 different farms since and I cannot wait to start learning more about agriculture in other places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The couchsurf community is a beautiful one and I am always open to meeting new people and sharing stories with them. We are here to experience this glorious life together and to help one another. I believe you should take what you give. Balance is everything <3

Music, Movies, and Books

Music; I appreciate all genres of music because they all have something to offer. Although I do listen to a lot of alternative, indie, rock, hiphop, punk, trap, bass, drum, female vocalists, progressive stuff, jazz....pretty much anything but new country or most the stuff that is on the radio. Not opposed to some classic Johnny Cash or Tim McGraw though..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen many amazing things, people, and places.. mostly in the US (been to Canada and Mexico) I've backpacked around Alaska-such an amazing place with even more amazing people. Backpacked/ lived on the Hawaiian islands for 7 months. Hiked and stayed in the Kalalau Valley Trail twice. (:

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a personal trainer for 2 years after I had lost about 80 lbs myself. I want to learn more about different cultures, places, agriculture, anything!! I'm always willing to share/barter whatever I may have of interest to the other individual. I enjoy baking /cooking and occasionally that can be a great gift to share...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to cook, clean, whatever's necessary. I try to do as much as I can while staying with someone; but please ask if you ever need me to help with anything! I'm very independent and will take care of myself/clean up after myself. I'm also very respectful of other people's space and understand you're not offering me a couch as well as a tour guide. I really only need somewhere for the night, somewhere safe for my belongings and the occasional shower. d: I don't have high expectations and will be grateful of whatever you may have to offer.
