Overview
About Me
Uhm, I do not really know what to right about myself....I consider myself an easy going, respectful, and curious person. I believe in treating everyone fairly and never make assumptions about people. You never know what a person has gone through or is going through. Always treat others with kindness.
"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." - Mark Twain
I moved a lot growing up, my dad was in the U.S. Marines and then we were missionaries to the Philippines. We moved to the United States in 2006 and have been serving in ministry since then. The longest place I have lived is San Angelo, TX and I lived there for 4 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience different cultures and make new friendships all over the world! I am not just looking for a place to stay, but also for connecting to people from different backgrounds.
Interests
I love learning. Learning about anything and everything!
"Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, and never regrets."- Leonardo Da Vinci
I also crochet a bit, like to read fiction books, spend time with my family, I am a big fan of board games, I am also starting to get into vlogging. (trying to at least)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all types of music, rap would be my least favorite though.
Books I love: The Bible, The Great Gatsby, The Pirate's Son, To Kill A Mockingbird, and The Hunger Games. Also, anything in the fantasy or sci-fi genre.
Movies: Documentaries such as, PlanetEarth; Titanic, LOTR, Sweeney Todd, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and more I can't tink of right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What counts as amazing? The word amazing means different things to different people. For me, one amazing thing I have done is teach a 2 year old girl her alphabet. I was her nanny and teaching her was an amazing experience.
Another amazing thing would probably be jumping off a waterfall in the Philippines. I lost a flip flop during that trip but it was worth it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my teachable spirit. I am hungry to learn. I want to learn about different cultures, religious views, local lifestyle, and history of a person's life. I can also do any housework that is thrown at me! :D
