Hello! I am South African, but currently living in Hamburg, Germany as an Au Pair for a year. I've always wanted to travel and improve my German so I thought becoming an Au Pair would be the best and easiest way to make that happen! Until now I have just been studying at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. My studies were very broad and I'm still not sure what exactly I want to do with my life. All I know is, travelling is important to get to know yourself and the world better and that is my main focus at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been living in Germany for almost a year now, but unfortunately I haven't really had a chance to travel much since I arrived here. I've been waiting to make enough friends who would like to travel with me, but I realized that's quite difficult. So I decided I might have to travel alone, which is also fine! Couchsurfing seems like a great way to find a nice place to stay while travelling and at the same time meeting cool people!
