Overview
About Me
I'm a current graduate student studying industrial/organizational psychology who enjoys traveling when possible, and exploring Indy in my free time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in meeting new people, making friends, and swapping stories. Even if it's a short stay, I'd much rather have some good conversation than stay in a hotel, and having guests at my place helps me break out of my routine. Also, because I'm focused on my specific field of study, I welcome opportunities to learn about other topics.
Interests
I love doing pretty much anything outside, cooking for people, and learning new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie rock, embarrassing pop punk, 90s and alternative hip-hop, some electronic
Movies: Lost in Translation, Cloud Atlas, American Beauty, Coherence (and any other creepy/psychological thriller dinner party movies)
Books: Douglas Coupland, David Mitchell, Alan Watts, Erich Fromm, The Little Prince, old detective fiction, fragmented narratives
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have my Wilderness First Responder certification, so I know how to keep people alive in wilderness settings. (Thankfully, I saw more "blood and gore" in training than I've seen in real life emergencies so far.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to get better at playing music, especially with other people. I'm also interested in learning from people who have a totally different knowledge base from me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to cook, jam/make up silly songs, bring beer, and help with household chores.
Countries I’ve Visited
Ireland, Mexico
Countries I’ve Lived In
