What's up!

I am a very spontaneous person, looking to meet up with other spontaneous people and participate in high-energy activities. I am up for just about anything! My goal is to expand my boundaries, partake in new activities, meet new people, and make other peoples' lives better. I consider myself a generous, free-spirited person, and this is pretty integral to how I relate to the world.

I am a traveler, a musician, and learner of languages. My secret to happiness is to surround myself with knowledgeable, kind, good-hearted, and adventurous people, and also to be as helpful, kind, and generous as possible. I hope to be more giving and meet more amazing people everywhere I go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make travel friends and especially musician friends all over the world. My vision is to develop a global network of friends to visit, explore cities with, and make music with! When I first joined Couchsurfing, I could not be a host, and now I can. Very excited about it, too :)

Interests

NATURE! I love love love to be outside. If you enjoy any outdoor sports at all we will have fun together. I like chess, music, languages, global cuisine, visiting museums, different cultures, yoga, stretching, lifting, outdoor sports, hiking, extreme sports, snorkeling, whaling, diving, climbing...the list goes on and on! I am interested in everything =D But especially things that keep you active, or involve art. I am a musician, so all forms of art speak to me strongly.

I am a terrible dancer, but I love to dance, too. This is one way I'm looking to push myself. Hahaha. I love beer, too! I'm interested in flavor, two or three at a time, not getting drunk all the time. I enjoy sampling flavors from around the world. I am particularly partial to German beer.

I am very enthusiastic about discourse on travel and bringing cultures closer together. I love learning about unique/traditional customs in every place I visit, and experiencing those customs whenever possible!

I want to experience natural beauty all over the world! Going outdoors and into the wilderness is my thing.

Flute is my main instrument. I love to learn different cultural flutes from all over the world.

If you don't know how to play chess, I can teach you! If you know more than I do, you can teach me!

I am wicked efficient at cleaning =D Seriously, though! I was in a co-op for three years, and people always complimented me on how efficiently I can clean. It is a gift and a curse!
