I normally hate to describe myself but I can sorta see why it is a good section to have on this website! I am a person that finds refuge outside. Anytime I can get out of my office early I will throw on a t-shirt and shorts on and be wandering around in the trees getting lost. I have a long, detailed bucket list that I am anxious to check some boxes on. This past spring I took the plunge and went backpacking through the grand canyon with some crazy, amazing people that I met on Instagram so creating this profile was overdue :). I am living day to day just looking for people to go play outside with (hike, bike, skydive, etc.) I have exciting travel plans for the near future and I also hope to hit Zion and Yosemite this winter ('15) and cure my camping bug! Hit me up if you want to go on an adventure!

I feel as though I make friends fairly easy and I am in search of some laid back adventure people to run around with. Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I jumped out of a plane as a birthday present to myself when I turned 22 which was cool. My most recent cool thing was joining a group of 22 people I've never met to go backpacking through the Grand Canyon for four days. The Havasupai Reservation is not something you should miss if you have the chance. I was joined by some crazy talented photographers/videographer, and other people just like me that thought it sounded incredible. I went not knowing anyone other than emailed exchanged and left with friends all over the country. Definitely an experience for a memoir someday.
*I've only left the country once but I have BIG plans and a passport ready for stamps*

I like to think I handle things in stride when they don't go the way I would like. I had my life planned out the way I figured it would go since I was very young, and boy did THAT get blown out of the water. Experiences i've had and heartache i've experienced has made me who I am, and because of that I wouldn't take any of it back. At this stage I am focusing on the learning portion as opposed to teaching. I gain much more by staying silent and observing what makes people who they are. I am fascinated by watching those that have found their passion and thriving. I do this in hopes that I find self actualization someday. Here's hoping!

I vow to never come empty handed for a visit and hope that if I click with a host to count that person as a friend. Anyone willing to open their home to a stranger on an adventure is okay in my book! I am unafraid of dirty dishes, I will gawk over your animals and play hide and seek with your kiddos. I would love to hear stories my host has to tell. Everyone has a story, they just need someone to listen.
