I was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Hagerstown (Maryland), and earned a BA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College (Asheville, NC). I spent 13 years as a writer and editor in newspapers and magazines in Maryland. I'm single, with no pets or kids, and planning a temporary nomadic existence come spring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on traveling the country and working on a couple books that I've put on the back burner, while doing some freelance writing. I'm hoping to do a lot of camping and hope to meet some couchsurfing friends along the way.
