First ill say that my soul belongs to nature. I have love for all things living and find myself at peace when my bare feet are touching the earth and I can feel the wind on my skin. I am a Gemini. I enjoy listening to anyone who wants to speak and I believe everyone has a story to tell. I find great pleasure in eating something that ive grown. I like making something from nothing and being crafty. I love getting lost in the moment. I enjoy learning new things and I'm constantly changing and evolving...so I may be a totally different person from this by the time I meet you :P kidding. I like to do things impulsively and try to live as what I call a "YES PERSON". Yes I mean like the movie. I LOVE ANIMALS!! I find that when they are present it is challenging for me to get day to day activities completed. Right now I am working with the SCA doing conservation and restoration of a wetland area in the Gulf. Its a challenging experience but I have to say one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling jobs Ive ever had!

I have been on very short trips to places but I am really excited to go and spend more time. I want to really see the culture and experience the place as a whole. My family did not really get to travel when I was growing up so I am making up for lost time now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be here because I believe traveling and experiencing new places should be a part of life for everyone. Traveling enriches who you are. I believe becoming friends with the people living in the community is the best way to see a culture or get to know the lifestyle. Sharing experiences with others is how you make memories.

I also really just enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories...it makes life so much more interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do like most all music but right now the top three stations on my Pandora are Fleetwood Mac and Ben Howard.

Movies have a time and a place for me. I don't spend much time looking at a TV but some of my favorites are Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Short Bus, Eternal Sunshine and all of the LOTR and Hobbit movies. :)

A few of my favorite books are Story of the Eye by Georges Bataille and I Spit on Your Graves by Boris Vain.
