PRE TRAVEL PASSION

After finishing high school, I was going to continue my studies in university to become a teacher, but decided to take a year off to snowboard and compete. I was told I was making a mistake, so by the time the next September rolled around, I found myself studying at Queen's University. Quickly realizing I wasn't where I wanted to be, I completed two years of my degree, and strapped my snowboard on again to compete and travel. Again.

After a couple of years competing with the Ontario Team, I packed my bags, and drove across the country to live and train alongside Team Canada and Team BC at the largest ski/snowboard/bike resort in North America: Whistler Blackcomb.

FINDING MY TRAVEL PASSION & LIVING IT

2015
Since moving to Whistler, BC, in January 2015, and working at lululemon (since July 2014), I found my new passion; to simply explore this world while I can. I want to live in different countries. I want to soak in culture and life from different parts of the world. I want to learn different languages. I want to live and run (race) in a different country every year, and I want to do it all for myself.

2016
I packed my bags and moved to New Zealand to work and live in January 2016. Came home to Toronto for a chunk of time to visit family, and complete my first 70.3 half Ironman race, but officially moved home from NZ at the end of November in 2016. I also travelled to Australia, Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, Los Angeles USA, and Edmonton and Vancouver Canada.

2017
I travelled and explored Iceland, Ireland, Poznan Poland, Paris France, London England, Trinidad and Tobago, Miami and Nashville USA. I really badly broke my foot in July 2017, and was in a cast until October 2017, so my plans of travelling to Germany for Oktoberfest along with travelling to Italy and Croatia came to a halt. Planning for my 2nd trip to Hawaii again in November because I loved it so much the first time.

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going and bubbly person. I try my best to see the good in every situation and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. There's something positive in everything that crosses our path, and positive thoughts equal positive results. I have a love for exploring and my independence is probably one of my best known qualities.
