Overview
About Me
I´ve always wanted to travel and see as much of the world as I can but for many years I worked full time and mostly had holidays in Europe. Last year I left full time work (after 12 years) and went to Asia for 3 months and when I got home I needed to go again, so I am now travelling around South America for 8 months, this time with my boyfriend. I´m proving to myself that I am the person I always thought I was. I try to be happy and positive and appreciate the simpler things in life, a simple sunset, cat or song can put a smile on my face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Met some travellers on my current trip who told me about couchsurfing and it seems like a great way to meet people and know a country even better. It´s also something I would like to do when I am home again in London and have the space for guests! I still love my home town and showing it to new guests.
Interests
Travel - I get very excited to see new places and step on unfamiliar ground.
People - I enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and learning how others in the world live.
Animals - I love wildlife and nature, everything excites me from seeing a huge southern whale, to meeting a cat or dog :) I´m a vegetarian and it still interests me learning new ways that I can care for the world and not harm animals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I disagree with having favourites but I love music and couldn`t live without it. Although the same goes for movies and books, I am so happy at how much more reading I am able to do whilst travelling. A few books that have always stuck in my mind are Shantaram, Bird Song and The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To float on the Dead Sea between Israel and Jordan felt like the coolest thing i´ve ever done, but I can´t take much credit, the water done all the work!
