Hi my name is Lauren Pilgrim, I'm from the Gold Coast, Australia.

I'm currently unable to host, as I'm traveling around Europe for several months!

I'm a laid back person who likes to meet other people and hear about their lives. I love the outdoors and I plan to see as much of the world as possible in my time here.

James and I enjoy having a good time. That can include family gatherings, backpacking, biking, walking, hiking, restaurants with friends, traveling, exercising, preparing meals for guests, reading, watching movies, BBQs, festivals, shooting hoops, wine tastings (we've just spent 5 years living in "wine country" the Hunter Valley!), sporting events, or just sitting on the front porch with a coffee.

James and I are taking a gap year to travel and see as much of the world as possible, before moving to Canada (in Nov 2016)

Yes, yes and yes. I love watching movies. James likes documentries and superhero movies and I like comedies, dramas, rom-coms and thrillers.

I am usually reading one or two books at a time (mostly fiction) and I normally have to finish a book once I've started it (even if I don't like it).
