Hey, Im Lauren. I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and I went to college in South Carolina. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University and have taught Kindergarten for the past couple years. This year, I decided that I wanted to see more of the world so I took a year off to do just that. In my free time, I enjoy taking yoga classes, reading, and being outdoors. I love the ocean and soend the majority of my summers on the beach with my family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been backpacking through Europe for the past 4 months solo. It’s coming towards the end of my trip and I realized that I wanted to gain a better understanding of the people and not just the places that I visit. I’ve heard some amazing stories about couchsurfing and I’m excited to start this new journey

I enjoy listening to all types of music. I’m an avid reader but I focus more on the content of the book instead of the author. I enjoy historical fiction especially when traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a year off from teaching to travel the world. It was a big risk but I am enjoying my travels and learning so much.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and would be happy to either help prepare meals or cook while I am there! I am great with children and wouldn’t mind helping out around the house.
