About Me
Hi! I am a Returned Peace Corps volunteer currently working in events here in Orlando and I'd love to share my city with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've joined couch surfing because my view on traveling has changed since living in Guyana for two years. I've always loved the excitement of seeing new places, but there is so much more to do than just seeing a place . I want to immerse myself in new cultures, observe and participate.
The real excitement is having the chance to experience an authentic aspect of the places I visit, learning about the world, instead of just being a tourist.
I'm looking forward to learning about you and the world you live in through Couchsurfing.
Interests
Food, Trying new things, reading, dancing, hiking, making friends
Music, Movies, and Books
Music-Soca or anything that makes you want to move your booty, The Strokes, artsy folk singers, cheesy pop music, bluegrass.
I've always enjoyed a good book which can be anything, fiction, nonfiction, scifi, easy reads, philosophical, etc. The last book I really enjoyed was Pslam for The Wild Built
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn how to make a local dish (as well as sharing my own), popular music in the country and really anything my host wants to share about their lifestyle/culture. I hope to share good food, stories and laughs.
