Hi there! 🤗

I am a recent undergraduate of The Ohio State University, hailing originally from Southern California. I am incredibly friendly, outgoing, and love listening to people's stories and learning about/experiencing the cultures of others. I am interested in traveling, writing poetry, painting and narrative medicine. I LOVE reading, and am trying to read at least two books a month, since being out of school and having a lot more time on my hands. I am also hoping to travel twice a year, beginning in 2018, before I returning to pursuing my career.

As a young adult just having graduated college, I realized there is so much of the world that I haven't seen yet! I would love , for the next few years, to meet as many people and go to as many new places as I possibly can. Couch Surfing makes that more affordable for somebody just starting to pay off school! I'm excited to be here and ready to see the world.

Music: I really love and listen to a wide variety of music, some favorites at the moment being Kendrick Lamar, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Noname, Fleetwood Mac, Haitus Kaiyote, Lauryn Hill, Ahmad Jamal, Amy Winehouse, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, etc.

Movies: Life in A Day, Remember Me, Gone Girl, Disney’s Pocahontas (childhood favorite), Cloud Atlas, Get Out, Remember the Titans, Harry Potter Series

Books: When Breath Becomes Air, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Counting Descent, much of anything by Octavia Butler but especially Kindred, Eragon Series,
