I am a backpacker from the United States, currently on a work and holiday visa in New Zealand. I have a degree in Vocal Performance, focusing on opera. I love sharing my music with others, and getting into long discussion about genres of music, new artists, and generally bonding over a common love for all things musical.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from around the world. This is a wonderful chance to immerse myself in local culture around NZ, and swap travel stories. I can find out about the greatest spots in the city/town I'll be couch surfing in, and am always up for making new friends!

I I am looking forward to meeting wonderful people, whom I will always be willing to host in return if they ever take a trip to lovely New England in the USA :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many types of music. My favorite to sing is classical. Not much of a movie watcher, and I am an avid fan of the Harry Potter series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Floated in the dead sea in Israel, played soccer with Ecuadorians, sung opera in England, and hopped around the kangaroos in Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a lot about music, share healthy vocal techniques with you, or even sing for you or with you. We can share stories of traveling. I can cook a mean french toast. Other than that, I'm not a great cook, but we can collaborate and cook together!
I can also teach you some bellydance moves, or how to squat with proper form.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be respectful of the rules/boundaries of the home, and if you're interested in venturing to the sites with me, that will be welcome. I can tell you about my life, and I will gladly listen to stories about yours!
