About Me
Hey there! I am a native of Atlanta, GA, currently working from home as a digital organizer for a sector of the ACLU. I absolutely LOVE having conversations with people and hearing about what drives them to be a light in this world-- it's a large part of what I do in my career. The 5 things I can't live without are: Music, Nature, Books, Love and a Jacket (I'm super cold natured Lol). I am a firm believer that "whatever you go through, grows you"; some folks have told me that I have a "ridiculously" optimistic view of life, but hey... it's gotten me this far, right?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couch surfed with a friend like 5 years ago in Pittsburgh, and remain grateful to this day that people whom I did not know opened up their home to my friend and I (even after she simply messaged the hosts to ask if she could bring me along—and my profile wasn’t even created then Lol) So I guess you can say I am looking to pay it forward, meet new people and open up other folks’ minds to the notion that there is still hope for humanity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In November 2017, I traveled to Germany for a digital media gig at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (better known as: COP22). It was a really awesome experience!! Not only was I creating media content & representing an NGO based on environmental and social justice, I also got to meet a long lost cousin who lives in Aachen!
Teach, Learn, Share
Before I hop into something new (of which I may be nervous about the outcome) I use this countdown I learned at a yoga retreat: “1. You are getting ready, 2. You ARE ready, 3. (action commences)”
