Interests

Arts, politics, music, science, technology. I used to long to be lost in wild places and I lived and worked on offshore islands, in the forest, on remote lakes and rivers. However, I now increasingly like to be around people and understand as much as possible about the human experience and sociability. Human misery is as higher source of interest as any of the finer qualities of human love and "happiness".

Music, Movies, and Books

Many novels, plays, essays and other writings and media.
Varied and "eclectic" music taste .. whilst I don't like that expression I am not sure how to describe my wide range of music tastes... too many to list and think of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have seen lots of amazing things in human & natural world. Climbed a 3000m peak. Lived and fished lobsters on an offshore island in the Atlantic. Most importantly, I am raising a bright, happy child!
