Born and raised in Portland, I've lived all over the US and hope to travel more!

I work in technical theatre - building sets, woodworking, welding, doing lighting, painting. I love creating the framework for art to happen onstage! I've also done work in environmental education, and am passionate about the outdoors, science, and inspiring youth.

In my free time I am a dancer, enjoy getting outside, and finding tasty hole-in-the-wall restaurants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and travel inexpensively! I want to make the most of my time in new places and get out and do fun things. I believe making connections and participating in cultural exchange is what's going to make the world a better, more tolerant place.
