Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had my first CS experience in Sydney with two CS veterans and fell in love with the idea of staying with individuals who share a similar passion for traveling.
Interests
Aside from travel, I love the kitchen! Whether it is baking or cooking, learning new techniques, or taking a class, I love all things culinary. A wonderful way to learn about a culture is through its food, which is why I try to take a class or engage with a local cook every time I am in a new country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent three weeks in Myanmar and each day was an amazing adventure. The beginning of my third week traveling led me to Bagan and I was blown away. Bagan is home to over 5,000 temples, stupas, and pagodas. The only way to travel amongst them is by foot, bicycle or by hired horse cart. Over the next four days I spent my time discovering and exploring these ancient monuments. A truly awesome experience.
On the adventure side of things - I had two experiences swimming with sharks in Australia. The first came at Coral Bay where I swam with Whale Sharks. Our group spent the day hanging out and swimming alongside these massive animals taking in their awesomeness! The second experience came in Port Lincoln where I did a cage dive with Great Whites. Talk about overcoming your fears!
