Overview
About Me
I'm a social and easy going person with a wicked sense of humour. I'm down to earth and enjoy the simple things in life like coffee in the sun and fluffy dogs. I work in hospitality because I love the social nature and it satisfies my need for quality food and drink which the contents my wallet can't always provide. When I catch up with friends it's usually centered around this, whether it's grabbing a beer and going for a walk, enjoying some quality coffee from one of my favourite cafes or cooking up a storm at home.
I have traveled a lot and at this point in time I'm enjoying feeling 'settled' (we'll see how long this lasts). Through my travels I have met some wonderful people which has lead me to I value quality connections above all else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am returning to Couchsurfing to broaden my social group in Berlin and to explore some new activities.
Interests
I am currently studying German, which is very much testing my brain but is also rewarding. Again food and drink holds a lot of my interest. I love cooking, especially for others. I also enjoy wine and cocktails and am ever exploring different varieties and styles.
I have also studied Massage Therapy which taught me a lot about the importance of taking care of your body.
Human behaviour and psychology also interest me a lot, I enjoy exploring the motivations behind actions and thought processes.
I'm sure there are many more things to add but this will do for now.

I can cook (I'm no master chef but I know how not to burn stuff).
I love to help people improve their English, in particular I have helped people prepare for the IELTS exam and also with pronunciation as I have quite a neutral accent.
I can teach you a bit about wine, beer and cocktails- which I'm constantly improving on myself. If you work in hospitality or want to get your foot in the door I can also help you with some training and CV advice.
I can also teach you how to play chess, cricket, how to swim and how to make a weird bird noise with your hands!
I would love to find a tandem to practice my German with so if that's something you're interested in get in touch.
