About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to learn to speak Spanish, to make a new city feel like home
ABOUT ME
Funny, welcoming, interested in learning about other people, critical thinker, loyal...
I moved to Madrid in July 2012 to take a break from real life and try to make a new city feel like home. Right now I am taking Spanish lessons, nannying part-time, and spending the rest of my time walking through the neighbourhoods of Madrid. While I'm here, I'm hoping to meet people I can connect to on a level beyond partying together/sharing small talk (though we have to start somewhere!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The moments that stand out for me are not so much the ones where I do cool things, but the ones where I meet incredible, warm, and open people. I find myself continuously shocked by how inviting strangers can be and have been reminded of human kindness everywhere I've traveled. I think sharing our "awestruck" moments would be a great way to start a conversation when we meet!
