About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission? Oh man. My current mission is to get back over to Europe. I love Europe more than I even know how to explain.

ABOUT ME

Hmm.. I would sum it all up by saying I am one of the most outgoing and social people you could ever wish to come across. I am a HUGE Chicago Bears fan. I love to ride my bike for fun and leisure and I love to travel and learn about other people and other cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you should learn from every experience you're given and every person you meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My original intent was to just serve as a resource for people stopping through Indianapolis and a chance to meet others. I didn't really intend to actually host anyone but I've had a couple great experiences so I'm more open to it now. My availability is limited however, so I can't always do it. - UPDATE: Right now I'm unable to host visitors because our home isn't big enough since my boyfriend moved in. We are hoping to move sometime this summer however, and will look forward to hosting people again at that time! I am ALWAYS happy to meet with people who are looking to experience the city, when my time allows!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've had only positive experiences. Here's hoping it stays that way! I have hosted a couple people now that have all been wonderful. I recently traveled to Germany by myself and couchsurfed the entire time. The best part was that I stayed with guys that I had hosted in Indianapolis, stayed with one of their family members and then friends of theirs in Austria. THAT'S what couchsurfing is about! The connections you make are incredible! I stay in touch with nearly every person I've met through here and I love it. This is truly a great way to make friends around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love ALL types of music. Truly. I probably went to over 50 concerts this year alone (part of my job- so it's not an exaggeration) and it ranged from Jane's Addiction to EDM shows to hip hop shows to indie rock to.... I don't even know what else you can throw in that mix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so fortunate to do SO many things with the amount of traveling I have done. I think that on paper- what would sound the most amazing- is scuba diving along the Great Barrier Reef.

I think that in reality, for me at least (and probably not that exciting to others), was traveling to a country that I didn't speak the language and not having a clue what I was going to do once I got there- yet had the most amazing time of my life. That was my most recent trip to Germany and Austria.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Morocco, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
