About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Havin' a time!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently on a two month trip through the southern states! Super excited to explore down here… eat some good food, hear some good live music, bike, CrossFit, and meet other travellers and locals!

PHILOSOPHY

I always try and be positive and treat people as I would want to be treated. I use humour as medicine. I live my life to have a good time. I'm an extrovert and love being around people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just saw a great Quebec movie called "Monsieur Lazhar." And I read "Cockroach" by Rawi Hage while travelling in Cuba. And then I hit The Hunger Games :) Music... The Acorn, Arcade Fire, Dolly Parton... I like it all mostly except metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got back from three weeks in Cuba. The people and the vibes there left me awestruck... I had so many moments of sheer happiness. It was usually riding in a taxi singing or face planting in the ocean while learning to kite surf. Ha! Cuba is so different than where I live so just being there made me smile. The people seemed so happy even though they are forced to go without many things.

My friends and I hiked in the Tombstone Territorial Park (Yukon, Canada) last September. All the campsites were booked so we bush whacked up to one of the passes. The mountains and colours were amazing. We didn't see anyone else for days. We woke up on our last morning to a blanket of snow and clear blue skies. Its the first time I've needed to use the drawstring feature on the head of my sleeping bag!

Playing animal bingo when my parents came to visit the Yukon. Grizzly bear.... bingo!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm all about the energy. If we've got energies that meld, I love listening, sharing, and doing new things.
