ABOUT ME

I just finished my last year of undergraduate education, focusing on East European Studies and Foreign Affairs. I currently recruit people to work in the Moscow and Beijing embassies for a government support company.

I enjoy traveling especially to eastern Europe and learning about local cultures. I speak Russian, Polish, and Spanish and want to learn Serbian/Croatian one day. After spending a summer studying in the Balkans I have become particularly interested in cultures in the midst or recovering from ethnic conflicts. I think of myself as a pretty laid back, open-minded person, just looking to chill.

My current living situation doesn't allow me to host but I would love to meet up for coffee and share my knowledge of Charlottesville.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am extremely new to this but recently surfed with a group of my friends, which was great.

Over time I'm come to realize that I am not picky about music I listen to- honestly put anything on and I will find something I enjoy about it. That said, a random selection of my favorites: sufjan stevens, vampire weekend, fleetwood mac, the xx, kanye west, and john mellencamp (yes, really).
