Transitioning back to life in the States after living in Amsterdam for a semester.

ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing girl from Chicago, IL, USA. I have played the violin since I was eight years old, but my favorite music to listen to is classic rock. In college, I've begun playing bluegrass and jazz violin as well.
I haven't traveled very much outside of the States thus far in my life, but I plan on making up for that now! I went to Israel in June of '08 and fell in love with the country. I plan on going back soon. (I'm not sure how yet.) From September through December of '08, I lived and studied music in Amsterdam. I loved the city life and everything that's unique about the "sin city." Now I am either home in Chicago, or at school in a small town in Ohio.

PHILOSOPHY

Basically, live life to the fullest, live for yourself and for your beliefs rather than some one else's, relish every moment of every day.

I am new to the couchsurfing community, but I hope to do a lot of traveling in the near future and couchsurf as often as possible.
