About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find some quiet; meet good people.
ABOUT ME
I love to make music and food, and would love to share it with you. I've studied history, philosophy, and anthropology and approach travel with an eye for history in the lives of people I meet. I love to read - anything from poetry to philosophic texts - and to discuss ideas I encounter. I love to be active - hiking and biking are great ways to see a place!
PHILOSOPHY
There is no time for nonsense. So I live to immerse myself in what touches my spirit and energies me, not what distracts me from it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host and am hosted. I have often traveled with my boyfriend Roy Blumenfeld. Many of our hosts and guests have reviewed both of us on his page. Please check it out to see my other references! http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/royb/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing has yet beat my experience watching monks lively discuss Buddhist scripture in Lhasa, Tibet. They were a flutter with life amidst the majestic Himalayan mountains.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm excited by languages, and would love to learn French, Italian, and Spanish. I am a yoga teacher and love to give complementary yoga lessons: ) I also play music (guitar and sing). I'm a teacher in the U.S. and have a lot to say about our educational system and future generations -- I can offer my thoughts to an exciting debate!
