ABOUT ME
Heyo, I'm Lauren (or Dean, since there are quite a few Laurens out there). I'm originally from outside of Baltimore, MD, but decided to head down to humid New Orleans for university in an attempt to soak up some culture and maybe earn a degree or two. After that, I moved on up to Missouri where I have been dodging giant spiders and reading about German history ever since. I spend a lot of time reading, cooking, and I'm noted for my taste in 90s rock music, love of sarcasm, and fondness of puns, as well as lame jokes. I get along well with most everyone, have a tendency to clean when I get bored, and adore cooking and trying new foods.
Anything else you'd like to know, just ask :D
Cheers!
PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books
Music-wise, I'm open to pretty much anything from Reggaeton to 90s rock music to Russian rap and everything in between :)
As far as books go, I read ALL THE THINGS. Bonus points if it isn't required for a class.
I love movies, as well, and am looking to expand my horizons, so any suggestions are welcome (same with books and music)!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first Mardi Gras; between the massive amount of stimulation and the crush of people, it was exhilarating.
The most awestruck I've ever been though, was when I realized the vastness of the internet and the amount of knowledge that was at my fingertips.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook! I can also show you the thrilling lives of nerdy college students, and rant and rave about anthropology, history, and books.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Austria, Germany, United States
