ABOUT ME

My boyfriend, Woody, and I are in the process of trying moving to San Francisco to begin our careers.

Woody is 27, I am 23. We have been together for a year and a half, and have lived together for the majority of that time. We have a fun, loving, healthy, committed relationship so we can assure you couchsurfing together will be a non-issue.

He is pursuing work in illustration, graphic design, and music with a love for modern furniture design, music, photography and film. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.

I am currently volunteering for a farm animal welfare advocacy nonprofit, Farm Forward. My career passion lies in farm animal welfare, agricultural sustainability, food safety, nutrition and childhood development. I also have a shared love for music and film.

We are mindful vegetarians and non-smokers. However, we love to drink wine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are hoping to meet fun and like-minded people willing to host us for small periods of time during our job hunt! We would look forward to cooking vegetarian meals for our hosts and contributing in other ways around the house. While I am fairly familiar with San Francisco, this will be Woody's first time to the city. Most likely we would not spend much time at your house, as we will be out exploring and job hunting most of the day and I would imagine evenings we would spend dining out, grabbing a drink, or attending shows or other cultural events. While we would love to hang out with our host, it is not a deal breaker for us if our host has a busy schedule that limits his/her free time to do so. We really just need a place to sleep and shower!
