Music, Movies, and Books
Him - Michael Pollan's "Omnivores Dilemma." Vonnegut, Thoreau, "Desert Solataire", "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," "A Staggering work of Heartbreaking Genius"
Her: "Leaving my Father's House" - it's a psychology book that I'm falling in love with as is talks about conscious femininity and bridging to wholeness.
We actually find little time for movies... most of our time we play in the kitchen, outside, or in the community...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking in Yosemite National Park.
Hitchhiking across the country (him) and across state line (her)
Traveling two months through India and the Himalayas.
Snorkeling the Barrier Reef in Belize.
Roadtripping through twenty eight states across the US
Hiking through Big Bend, Sequoia, and Zion National Parks
Living on coastal Spain for nine months
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching English, Learning Spanish.
DUSTIN: Cooking- I love learning new recipes first hand and I'm happy to teach
Sharing good ways to get to good places. I like walking and running and finding nice places to be. Especially places just outside the city.
LAUREN: I can teach communication skills, (counseling related) or organizational skills (clutter clearing). But most fun would be teaching yoga, pilates, zumba, or classical dance.
