ABOUT ME

Hi! I recently quit my life (no more job, subletting my living space, etc) in order to keep some promises to myself and go on a 4-month adventure to Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand!

PHILOSOPHY

You only get one life in the body you have, so it's paramount to live as authentically as possible.

Community is essential. We're all in it together, after all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to dance, cook, practice yoga, learn languages, spin fire, draw, write...and I love sharing/learning/teaching with new friends.

I also like building giant flaming art, and am working on a project hosting questionably legal restaurants in unique places.

I believe very strongly in giving back to spaces that welcome me as a guest, whether it's cleaning, cooking, etc :)

Interests

I'm interested in pretty much everything. It's a problem.

In particular, I love dance, yoga and art. (I really want to learn to screenprint!)

I'm interested in meeting all kinds of people, learning about different cultures, perspectives, lifestyles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore lots of Latino authors...Jorge Luis Borges, Octavio Paz, Juan Rulfo...I adore surrealism and magical realism.

I have pretty broad taste in music! I like a lot of electronica, but also am particularly fond of a fair bit of jazz and bluegrass.
