I like to work and play in the dirt~ thus far I've spent my career researching the delicate balance between water, food, and energy security. I've worked primarily in agricultural landscapes with farmers, researchers, and NGO's around the world.

I believe strongly in the landback movement and am always looking for ways to better support and protect food and land sovereignty for indigenous folks. Are you fostering those spaces?? Let's connect!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have enjoyed the couches of many others and have hosted some surfers myself. I am always happy to host travelers with more than just a couch~ we can cook, we can drink, we can hike, we can dance, we can talk astrology or share poetry or talk about the manic state of the world ;p

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some awesome folks thru couch surfing in Vermont, Hawaii, New Orleans, Oregon, Washington, Ecuador, and Sri Lanka :)

Dancing, hiking, yoga (both physically and spiritually), physics, astronomy, new people, new places, farming, water, education, sound, light, and of course, community <3

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm constantly consuming music thru out the day ~ jazz, rnb, soul, folk, classical, many a blended genre. I prefer to read non fiction, poetry, or philosophy. As of lately my favorite authors have been Adrienne Marie Brown, Bell Hooks, and Audre Lorde
