ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going, fun, personable person who enjoys outdoors activities and adventures, but also enjoys a relaxing night with great conversation. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring different cultures. I regularly go running, read a book or two and enjoy planning. I am part of a big family and absolutely love them with all my heart, so spending a lot of time with them isn't hard. I like sports like volleyball, soccer and football and hope to become a team's biggest fan one day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled all around Australia by couchsurfing while I was on school exchange at University of Sydney for a semester. I got to experience so much and meet some amazing people. I hope to get the same hospitality in Germany this upcoming Fall.

Interessen

I love to spend my time outdoors doing activities like walking, exploring different areas, playing sports like soccer and volleyball, as well as water sports like canoeing, kayaking and swimming. I am interested in teaching and children and how to put the two together in the best possible way. I cannot wait to have a classroom of my own and teach all these young minds which I hope to fill with worldly views.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

It is near impossible to name a favorite band, artist or song but I generally listen to country, 80s, 90s and alternative music. Colbie Caillet, John Mayor, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, and Brooks and Dunn are some of my favorite artists to name a few.
Like any other girl one of my favorite authors is Nicholas Sparks, which also makes his movies some of my favorite. But I'll pick up just about any colorful book that promises a good romance/comedic story line.
I do not do scary movies because I prefer not to be paranoid about everything, but do enjoy the occasional action movie filled with comedy and a love spark.
I understand that this describes just about every movie out there!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Skydiving is by far the best out of this world that I have ever had that I want to experience over and over again, just not now. I know I will do it again, but want to wait long enough until I have almost forgotten what the feeling is like.
Flying is still new to me, since I boarded my first plane just over a year ago when I was 19 years old. Since then I have been to Australia and Fiji to swim with sharks and climb to the highest summit I have ever been to!
Seeing the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in person has been a dream come true since I planned out studying abroad for over a year and finally got my dream come true!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I know how to play the piano, drive a manual car, skateboard slightly, swim, bake...
I want to learn how to surf, cook seafood, salsa dance...
I want to share my life stories and get the same back in return. I do believe that everyone has something that gets them up in the morning and that is the most admirable thing.
