Salut! On est un couple de bons vivants, pas mal vagabonds, qui ont soif de découverte tant au niveau paysages que personnages.

Les humains sont pour nous une passion. Ce sont eux qui créent les souvenirs, ce sont eux qui donnent un sens, ce sont eux qui sont si imprévisibles et qui rajoutent un grain de folie dans la routine que l’on tente d’imbriquer dans nos vies. Les ceusses nous apprennent, nous transforment, nous ébranlent. La rancune, le rejet et la méfiance ne mènent qu’à un cul-de-sac, selon moi. C’est l’abaissement de nos standards, le dévoilement de notre sensibilité, l’accueil, qui élargissent nos horizons.

On aime bien cette image où une foule est dans un spectacle de musique et se déchaîne. À ce moment, plus rien n’importe et on laisse place à l’absorption de l’instant présent. Mais, une fois la musique arrêtée on cherche à quoi se rallier et tous retrouvent leur rôle d’avatar social développé avec le temps... Ça serait donc ben l'fun que cet avatar se dissipe pour laisser entrer l’humain!

Hey! We're a couple of happy backpackers, who are looking to quench their thirst for discovery, both for new spaces and the characters in them.

Ahh, Humans! They create memories, give purpose, they are so spontaneous, they add craziness to our daily lives. They teach, learn, make one another evolve, they shake us to our core. The way we see it, bitterness, rejection and cynicism only bring us to dead ends. Bringing down our expectations, revealing our sensibility and being in a welcoming state, that is what widens our horizons.

We like this mental image of a crowd in pure bliss at a live music venue. In this very moment, there is no place for the self, nothing matters more than the now, this instant. But when the music stops, everyone starts to look for something to identify themselves to, and everybody gets back into their own social avatar, brought on by their years of life. How fun would it be for this avatar to dissolve itself and let humanity take its place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Rencontrer, découvrir, partager, vivre des moments authentiques et singuliers, évoluer, voyager à travers l'autre.

On est présentement en mode vagabondage à travers le monde pour quelques années; guitares à la main, l'essentiel sur le dos, et des confettis plein la tête.

On s'apprête à voyager en Irlande pour la première fois! Yaaaaaaaaay!

La musique et l'art en général, les cultures, la nature/le hiking, la bouffe/bière/thé/café, et surtout OSER; c'est bien se rappeler que chaque journée a la possibilité d'être différente.

Du côté de Lau, y'a un intérêt particulier envers les phénomènes sociaux et les initiatives collectives. Marc lui a un grand penchant pour la technologie et ses implications dans les différentes sphères de la vie.
