ABOUT ME

My name is Laurence and I live in Montreal in a house with 4 of my friends. I am travelling in South America at the moment so I won't be able to host anyone until april. I work as a work councelor, so I help people in the job seeking process to help them get the job they want :-) I enjoy doing this because I get to know many people with different backgrounds. I am going back to school to do a master in counseling psychologie to help people in finding what they want to do in life :-).

I am a friendly person, I get along with everybody and I like to get to know someone and have noce conversation. I love being outside, to hike mountains and to swim. I also love to travel, to learn more about all the different cultures and to learn more languages. I speak french and english, mi nivel de español es suficiente para conversar :-) Pero tengo un acento francés un poco raro haha ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling at the moment, so I can't host people. But I'm working hard to make this community better by being good and respectful travelers and by sharing what I know about the Quebec's culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing experience was in France in Montpellier last summer (2010). They hosted me for 4-5 days and I had so much fun with them, they made me discover Montpellier and we met so many people. I really had fun with them, they taught me a lot about France and I did the same about Quebec by trying to cook a Quebec meal haha.

兴趣

My first interests are about communication, about how everything's related to that and how important it is in our society. About languages as well, how we can compare them and how important they are in a culture.

I also love to swim, to read,to hike and to meet new people.

I love to read, I like all kind of books but my favorite is science-fiction

I listen to many stuff, but I especially like alternative, rock, punk, electro music.

My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Clockwork Orange, the Shining and Kill Bill. My favorite tv shows are south park, skins, the peep show, the inbetweeners, the griffins
