About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Can I travel and SE Asia and still be a vegetarian?
ABOUT ME
I realized recently that I wanted my life to be bigger than my desk job. For the last 7 years I've been working day-in-and-day-out at a computer, and now I want to see the world! I've thrown caution to the wind, quit my job, and booked a flight for SE Asia. I can't wait to get out of my bubble and meet different kinds of people and see places I've only imagined.
Leaving my apartment for coffee a few days ago I told myself to grab my camera, thinking that I might see something interesting on the way. I found myself at a Carnival parade and taking pictures that I now love. It made me SO excited to go on this trip and to put myself in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a great experience hosting two couchsurfers in 2011. I also couch surfed once in
Florence, Italy with my big sister who used to work as a Chef at the Couch Surfing Headquarters. I've been to a few Couch Surfing parties with her in San Francisco and met many interesting people!
Interests
I have a motorcycle that I love - a beautiful 1973 Honda CB350 Four named Ruby. I belong to a vintage motorcycle club in Venice, California. I recently have become a bit frisbee obsessed and spend as much time doing that as possible. I love puzzles and seek new challenges all the time. I listen to as many podcasts as I have time for - Stuff You Missed In History Class, Stuff You Should Know, The Moth, and This American Life are among my favorites. I like to read and try to read a variety of things. Mixing sexy scandalous dramas, young adult series', and classics.
