Making the transition from host to Couchsurfer!!

Well after many years of nightshift taking its toll I have finally been inspired by the many amazing travellers I have met-not just on here but in my hometown, so taking the first tentative step across the Tasman to NZ!

In my adventures I'm hoping to learn how to really sail, pick up some rugby skills, discover a new way of living sustainably through woofing and do some of the fantastic hikes (tramping??) NZ is known for.

Used to work on remote indigenous communities up in Arnhem Land. Being privileged enough to see some of the most deserted coastlines, hidden waterfalls and sacred sites was unbelievable!
