ABOUT ME

I'm a French girl working in communication and culture, trying to make her way in this exciting yet sometimes strange world surrounding us... This is one of the few serious thing about me.

The rest of my personality can't be sum up in words.. i believe that everybody has so many unknown aspects of himself that it takes a life to discover them all!

I'm outgoing, enthusiastic, passionate,always ready to discover something new and party, sometimes desperate when i think about our planet, but above all, im feeling really lucky to live in this world!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting people for sooo many years, since I left my parent's place 8 years ago;-) Been hosting in Caen, Marseille, London, Paris, Sydney and it's only the beginning!

I've been surfing too and met lovely hosts...I'm back on the road now!

I also praise CS and recommand it to all my friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i heard so many friends praising CS that i couldn't help but register! i'm used to sleep to party and stay at strangers' places around Europe so I think Couchsurfing's spirit is in me!

I hosted many lovely people and been hosted by wonderful, deep and bright people as well! I also travelled with CSers and showed them my town wether it was Marseille, London,Paris or Sydney!

Interests

-Every kind of art but mostly dance (belly dance, salsa,ballet), music (even if i don't play)literature, contemporary art, painting (Klimt is the absolute!!) and cinema...
-I'm a yoga addict, Jivamukti and Anusara are my fav
-History of People: their way of living, their status in this world, the numerous exchanges between civilizations, and specifically the history of the Ancient Greeks, the Gipsys and the Jews.
-i'm obsessed with fashion(its history, its icons etc.) and organic food (yes, that is compatible!. I love cooking (desserts are my favorite)
-I also love to enjoy the good weather and outdoor activities i.e. horse-riding, walking, windsurfing

i'm an inconditionnal lover of Rimbaud, Baudelaire and Eluard, but i also love Shelley, Dickinson, Rossetti,Shakespeare, Woolf,Fitzgerald, Rumi...
i love biographies of writers, actresses, artists..
I'm also keen on contemporary writers as J.C.Oates, D. Kennedy, J.Safran Foer, Y. Kadra, R. Leshem, A. Makine...

i have very eclectic tastes in music..coming from a rock'n'roll background, i mixed it with oriental classical music, any pop, Balkanic beats and American folk music...

Regarding movies, Almodovar and Kusturica are my favorite directors, and i must admit i also have a crush on musicals..i do love historical/serious films though! I also love Eastern/Mediterranean or Balkanic independants films (The Syrian Bride, Jaffa, Vodka Lemon..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i think every daily act can be amazing if you make it so, therefore i am not able to list anything here..but i travelled and met amazing people and places that really enhanced my perception of life

I can definitely share many things, stories, smiles, moments, cakes... with people, not sure about "teaching" though;-)
