CURRENT MISSION
To find new, great missions all the time
ABOUT ME
Me? Well, I'd like to say that travelling is my favorite thing to do in the whole world, but I also love to dance. In fact, if it were more socially acceptable, I'd be dancing down sidewalks, while sitting in my chair, waiting in line at the DMV, or boarding an airplane. Also, good music can really alter my mood for the better. If I need to have a good cry, (as we all do from time to time) for example, I can't have some fantastic up-beat song on because as prev mentioned I would probably just start dancing then instead. Travelling is up there though on the list of all-time best activity states. On the future front, I'm working to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in pediatrics, especially early intervention. I'm hoping to take some of these rehab skills internationally someday and teach some of the tenants of physical rehabilitation to individuals so that the quality of life may be improved for anyone with a physical/cognitive disability or impairment. Also, speaking Spanish just makes me smile because it sounds so wonderful.
PHILOSOPHY
Do whatever good you can because you are able.
"Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence." -Max Ehrman 'Desiderata'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CouchSurfing made my last trip, literally made it. People are really incredible, and this is a great way to get out there and experience that. Things are a little mad this semester with school but there are lulls here and there and it'd be great to show someone else what a great place Pittsburgh is even if for just a little bit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First couchsurfing experiences were this past year on a backpacking trip with friends through Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Our hosts were incredible and included a wonderful dairy farmer in southwestern Ireland, a couple who own a walking holiday B&B on the Isle of Arran in Scotland, and another couple in Wales who took us cave repelling in Snowdonia. None of these things would have happened without couchsurfing-which just showed us again that "it's all about the people"

Music, Movies, and Books
Once again, anything good (well, anything that isn't a country song about red, rusted pick-up trucks, dogs dying and beer-drinkin', which seems to be the theme of most of em'). Love me some folk music more than anything, and Neil Young is still my all-time favorite.
