ABOUT ME

My name is Lauren, and I'm a university student from South Australia. I'm the sort of person who loves to be on the go and have something to do. I love meeting new people and learning new things about different cultures, especially other languages. I am a bit of an adventurer.

I'm travelling to South America in a little while for a good 7 months - I'm super excited. I have been learning Spanish for a few years now, so am keen to be able to actually speak it.

Don't worry, I'm clean, polite and helpful who is genuinely interested in getting to know new people and their culture :) I will not be any trouble at all.

It's intimidating in a new place by yourself. I think that with couchsurfing can make the first, scary experience so much better. You can instantly have a friend that can help you out and show you around.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. We got up at 11pm at night (when it started raining) and walked all night with numb-feet and a head-torch. It was so windy that I'm surprised we didn't hear about anyone getting blown off! Also just surviving this far in my life is a decent accomplishment I think.

I love cooking, so can definitely cook dinner. I would be able to show you how to cook kangaroo, but I think it's probably difficult to get a hold of overseas!

English is my first language, so can help out with speaking/writing English.

I can teach you lots of cool things about medicine. It's super interesting to get to understand how the body works and how we're actually alive.
