Hey! I'm Lauren!

My partner of 9 years, Jason, and I are recently settled after our worldwide backpackpacking trip in 2017/2018. We Couchsurfed in almost every country which changed our lives and now it's time to return the love.

We're a couple of Kiwis living in the beautiful Sydney, Australia and would love to host you and show you around. Our apartment is right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge so very close to the city, and right next to a train station.

Unfortunately due to our work schedules we can only host occassionally on weekends (arrive Friday, leave Sunday) Please keep that in mind :)

Bit about us....

Me - 25, town planner in New Zealand, huge fan of small cute things (e.g. all Sausage Dogs), coffee and yoga... preferably together.

Jason - 27, media executive, loves being outdoors and doing extreme stuff.

We are really easy-going. We're always down to hang out with guest, but equally happy for you to look after yourself. We'd love to show you around, have a drink (if you're that way inclined) and get to know you. A little home away from home, maybe.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In 2017 and 2018 we made our way around the world using Couch Surfing.
Originally this was a nice way to save money and meet people, but it quickly became a life changing experience.

Couch Surfing for us is more than a bed and a shower, it's about making connections and having an awesome experience you wouldn't have otherwise had. If you feel the same please request to stay with us, but if we're just a free bed maybe look elsewhere :)

We want to meet people from all over the world with different views, experiences and ways of life. We now know Couchsurfing is the perfect way of doing this. We have fallen in love with Couchsurfing and had the most amazing times because of our amazing hosts ♡

Música, películas y libros

Books - A Thousand Splendid Suns + The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini are my absolute favourite. Nothing compares but I do love others. Love anything about the real lives of people and cultures.

Movies - true stories, something gritty, something that makes me a bit smarter than before.

Music - LOVE Fat Freddys Drop (Kiwi band) they have narrated my life since I was 12.
