ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Lauren. :] I am a passionate dreamer, inspiring life coach, optimistic adventurer, enthusiastic yogi, creative artist, and an all around lover of life. I’m exploring soul through meditation & mindfulness, I’m embodying self through yoga & dance, and I’m expressing spirit through youtube videos, the power of the voice, photography, body painting, connections, and pretty much EVERYTHING!

2 years ago I left my corporate advertising job to find freedom & fulfillment in New Zealand. I lived out of a van, worked and lived at various yoga retreats and created my dream life. I met Jack, a kiwi yogi, who is now my life partner. We are currently visiting my family and friends in my hometown (Potomac, Maryland) and traveling around the States because Jack has never been to America. It's been such a glorious adventure!

Traveling connects me to my values and allows me to experience the ultimate adventure of life. I love connecting with new people, new cities, having new experiences, and taking advantage of this beautiful, vast world!

I always say "strangers are friends I haven't met yet" and couchsurfing is the perfect vehicle for traveling and meeting like minded adventurous souls.

兴趣

The things I absolutely adore doing are adventuring with my people, painting on huge canvases, practicing yoga and meditation, taking photos of people laughing, running down hills, hiking to the top of a mountain, having deep conversations with strangers, cuddling my fluffy cat, dancing like no ones watching, reading with a cup of tea, making gifts for my loved ones, finding spontaneity in everyday life, journaling, keeping things weird, learning about the world through travel, new experiences and new people.
