About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experiencing enough to make my blog worth reading
ABOUT ME
I'm an American student currently studying in Granada, Spain! I'm in love with Europe and everything that comes with it â the food, the people, the language, and the culture. I'm very outgoing, adventurous, laid back. My friend Maya says I have nice hair.
PHILOSOPHY
There is nothing more satisfying than relating to other people, despite any cultural, language, or geographic barriers. I life my life in constant pursuit of my eyes being opened to new, beautiful things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am simply looking to meet new people and see the world! While I can only be a surfer now, I'd love to be a host as soon as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The experiences I have had with Couchsurfers have all been extremely positive!!! I have heard nothing but amazing things from my friends who have traveled Europe in the hands of this amazing community. I am eager to see it for myself!
Since discovering this community I have not been capable of hosting anyone myself. But I'm sure after a few positive experiences being hosted I will be opening my couch!
Interests
I LOVE LOVE LOVE traveling and learning about daily life in different cultures. It does not get better than good food and good conversation. I love finding new music, thinking new ideas, meeting new people, spontaneous adventures, and living life to it's fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books
My current love is Indie Rock, though I have yet to find music I could not enjoy. The National, Bon Iver, Daughter, Florence and the Machine, City and Colour, Gotye, Imagine Dragons, Two Door Cinema Club, Of Monsters and Men, and pretty much anything with a beat.
LOVE reading! Historical fiction in particular. My most recent loves that come to mind are East of Eden, A Thousand Splendid Sons, and The Catcher in the Rye.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sun rise in the Sahara desert from a sand dune was probably the most beautiful and humbling experience I've been blessed to have. I have a few of those "Ah-hah" moments, looking to have some more.
Teach, Learn, Share
The most useful thing you can do for yourself is open your mind to what others have to say. That doesn't mean dropping your own thoughts or opinions, but rather allowing them to be morphed and matured over time.
