ABOUT ME

I'm an all around happy girl, possibly comical, genuine and extremely honest. I love putting myself in new situations to adapt. I'm a firm believer that if you do good things in life for yourself and for others, that you will be surrounded by good... bad things/people don't hang around for too often then.

I love to listen/play music, dance, play ultimate frisbee, play any sport for that matter, write, read, cook.. and try to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Sit down and talk with me. Share a beer, motorbike, bus, couch, coffee or food.. or all together at once. And you shall find out more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted loads of folks in Chicago and have surfed once in Cambodia. Couch surfers are some of the most open minded and fun people ive ever met and I cant wait to meet more. I try to tell everyone I know about couchsurfing. Interestingly enough, many of my couchsurfers and I have already reunited in different areas around the world. Amazing.

Now that I am in Berkeley, I participate by meeting new CS Folks. I am just settling into the city, so once I get my sea legs I will get back to hosting again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted, which has been an absolute blast. And met some great people through the project while I was living in Hungary! In addition, a lot of great people I randomly meet in Bangkok have turned out to be CS'ers aswell... which I don't think is a coincidence :)

Interests

Outdoor sports and adventure, learning and struggling with languages, massive food consumption, awkward situations, breweries, dancing, living it various countries rather than passing through, reading, writing, live music, picking up new hobbies, family...

I do love a good documentary film and anything that can justify eating a giant bucket of popcorn. I can not handle scary movies - I am that girl that will sit through a scary movie with my face behind a blanket.. the whole time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Turkish Football. I have video proof of the intensity of Federbache vs. Besiktas. I nearly died at their match in Istanbul. Totally worth it.

Ringing in 2010 by sleeping on a beach on a deserted island (they exist) in Thailand and waking to the sunrise at the end of my feet.

Alone time in Burma.

Driving solo all over Lombok, Indonesia. A breaktaking place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think I'm a woman of many particular talents, but I can teach you how to throw a frisbee, show you where to get good street food in Bangkok, how to properly do a handstand, cartwheel or round-off, and will give you a great hug when I meet you.

I would like to learn about you! I also love learning about food. I love eating it and I really wish I could make it - Can you teach me?
