ABOUT ME

It's music all the way for me. I'm passionate about what I do, and music is all I do. I sing jazz, pop, funk, soul, blues and folk.... I write music constantly - for myself and for others. I teach singing and music. I'm writing a few albums at the moment - one jazz, one pop/folk ...I released an album last year which is played on radio and also QANTAS airlines :). Other than music - I can latin dance, eat, juggle, fire twirl, relax and watch movies, laugh, love and ride a bike!

PHILOSOPHY

Gotta be passionate about what I do. Gotta LOVE what I do... Do whatever it takes to do what you are really good and and adore doing. Be honest, forgiving, non-judgemental, open-minded. Smile even if you don't feel like it. Don't just talk - but act - and listen - that's where the good things happen!

I love to meet new people and share ideas and stories and laughs. I can't wait to meet you all over there, and I can't wait for you to come and stay with me also. I love to share my music and my hometown with strangers but at the moment I'm in Milan - so I would love to meet some Milanese people here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waaaaay too many to write them here - or judge what's better than the other... I saw Leonard Cohen in concert - up close. Amazing. I met some famous musicians this year who loved my music and want to help promote me. I have sold out the Brisbane Powerhouse and also the Brisbane Jazz Club and in Melbourne for my first show at Bennetts Lane the famous club - I sold it out too! That feels pretty good :)
I recorded a beautiful album I'm really proud of!

I travelled when I was 19/20 to nanny in italy, and live in london.

I meet the most amazing people and have incredible personal experiences - it's these times that really make me what I am...

Teach, Learn, Share

When anxious/stressed/fearful...... Speak affirmations out loud. Mine are 'my future is prosperous. My future is peaceful. My future is happy".. Speaking words out lout is incredibly powerful.
Other things you can do:
Breathe deeply and slowly. Write - every thought that comes into your mind whether bad/good/fact/fiction/desires/hates. Get someone to massage your neck/shoulders/upper back. Use oils/herbs such as rosemary/lavender/neroli. Stay off the stimulants. Align your body well (loose knees, tuck pelvis in, balance over arches of feet. If sitting, feel sit bones on chair and have feet straight under knees). Laugh and sing. (I have done all of these things, and they help. That's the only reason I write them here.) Also Learn music! So good for the soul!
