Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people while traveling, helping out anyone who is looking to explore Austin, sharing stories. I enjoy seeing new places through the eyes of locals, and staying with couchsurfers is one of the best ways to do this. I’ve had such incredible experiences both surfing and hosting, and I want to continue to meet people and see places this way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie. Others I love include The Princess Bride, Pan's Labyrinth, Empire Records, Frequency, The Big Lebowski, My Cousin Vinny, When Harry Met Sally, Dr. Strangelove, Dogma, Hot Fuzz, Better Off Dead, Heathers, Remember the Titans... I could go on.

The Handmaid's Tale has been my favorite book since high school, with The Perks of Being a Wallflower as a close second. I enjoy a lot of Nick Hornby and Sarah Dessen novels. Billy Collins is my favorite poet. I don’t read nearly as much as I used to, and I need to change that. Recommend me a book!
